“There is no way to be a perfect Mother, but there are a million ways to be a great one!”
I am going to make it Mother’s Day month! In fact, personally, I think Mom’s day should be every day, don’t you?!
Being a mom brings a variety of adjectives to mind. Brilliant, Fabulous, Inspiring, Strong, Faithful, Rewarding, and on the other hand, Tiring, Thankless, Monotonous, Relentless..
I believe I speak for most moms as often times we question our ability, wish the kids had come with a manual, and wonder, are we raising children who will make a difference in the world?
Wouldn’t we like to raise those Who will be visionaries? World changers?” Critical thinkers? Servant leaders? We wonder at opportunity’s can we give them, especially if our resources are limited, will that make a difference?
What about the culture they are currently raised in? So much is technology based, will they lose the art of social interaction?
As a mom, these things matter to me, and I believe they matter to many mom’s out there, so how can start? What are the million things we can do to make us great?
I have some suggestions! Health and wellness are top priorities for ourselves and our families! First, mom, you need to make sure you’re eating right, reducing your toxic load, getting proper rest and exercise, and lowering stress! I can serve you in that area, if you have any of these issues, please reach out to me, and I have tools to help you address these things, for yourself and your family!
Next, one of the best things I’ve learned is time, while we are raising our children is a precious commodity. It’s a blink! Make sure you schedule time with your children, play together, talk together. Sow success, dreaming and critical thinking into their lives. There are all kinds of success stories, for children, and books that will help them with personal development, no matter what age. They need to hear from mom, and know how their lives serve a purpose, you believe in them, and that through discipline, perseverance, diligence and responsibility, they can dream, create and soar, and change the world!
It’s never too early to start sharing success with your children! Here are a few books I recommend:
The miniature guide to critical thinking for children: by Linda Elder
These are just a few, there are more on how to think like an entrepreneur for children, make a quick search on google! Some of them are pdf’s!.
As mothers, we want our children to go further than us! Mom’s are God’s greatest gift, they love unconditionally, nurture, support, and raise the next generation!
I am grateful every single day for my Mom. I started from home. YOU?
